There somewhere between 300 and 500 species of Eucalyptus. This particular species of the Eucalyptus comes from the Myrtaceae (myrtle) botanical family and is native to Tasmania and southeastern Australia and Brazil. This particular oil is steam distilled and its aroma is strong and camphoraceous.
